Root symbol, space, month code, last digit of year

Example: ES H23

Futures Options

Root symbol, space, month code, last digit of year, C for calls and the P for puts,

strike price.

Example: US H23

Foreign Futures

Base symbol, space, month and year code, dash, exchange code

Example: LX U23-LF

Foreign Futures Options

Base symbol, space, month and year code, C or P (for Call or Put), strike, dash,

exchange code

Example: LX U8C4600-LC

FOREX

Base code, space, spot or forward rate code, dash, FX

Example: GBP A0-FX or GBPUSD A0-FX

Three letter root symbol, space, month code, strike price code. (Month and strike

codes are listed on this page after the symbol formats. You can also press F3 in the

software to bring up this list)

Stock/Index Options - Long Form

Three letter root symbol, space, month, strike code, Call or Put
