Virtual Paper Trade
Virtual Paper Trade (VPT) allows to simulate and to track the paper trades in real time or in historical back test with discretionary methods.
There are two types of virtual paper trading that gives traders a great amount of power and flexibility in testing their strategy.

Traders can validate their trading strategy with historic data going beyond back testing reports. Traders can choose which indicators they want to include in their strategy and they can set the rules they want to use in interpreting the indicators. They can use subjective indicators alone using the Classic configuration of eASCTrend or they can combine the subjective indicators with the mechanical trading system in the Deluxe Plus configuration. No other software gives you such power: subjective indicators, mechanical trading system, and the means to perform virtual paper trading. The trader right clicks on a bar and clicks on Place Order at This Bar to enter the closing price of that bar.

Traders can experience real time virtual paper trading to closely simulate real time trading without risking any money. This can be very effective with subjective indicators, the mechanical trading system, or a combination of both. The trader right clicks on the last bar of a chart and clicks on Place Order at This Bar to enter the real time bid price if Sell is chosen or the real time ask price if Buy is chosen. Using real time bid and ask prices closely simulates real time order fill prices. The dynamics involved in real time trading is included in virtual paper trading without any limitation to entry at bar close.

Right click a bar on historical chart, you may place your paper trade at this bar.

Simply click Buy/Sell/Short to place your paper trades with historical data charts or place your virtual paper trade in real time with streaming tick data.
This function can also overwrite Auto Order Execution with one click.
